Zachary Richner is the founder and managing partner of Arrandale Ventures, enabling media firms to trade their ad inventory for equity in elite startups. Zack is a member of the Richner family, which owns one of the largest local media groups in the U.S. Prior to founding Arrandale, Zack led the multibillion-dollar NY Rising infrastructure program for New York State after Superstorm Sandy. He also previously held many roles within the Obama administration, including in the White House Office of the Chief of Staff and as the Ohio budget director on the 2012 campaign, as well as worked at J.P. Morgan Investment Bank and Fifth Wall Ventures. Zack serves on the legislative and legal affairs committee of America’s Newspapers, where he has helped to spearhead the Local Journalism Sustainability Act. He is a graduate of Harvard College and holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and an MS from Northwestern’s McCormick School of Engineering.
