Trey Berre, Managing Director and Global Head of CME Data Services, CME Group

Trey serves as Managing Director and Global Head of CME Group’s Data Services business. In his role he oversees CME Group’s financial market data products, analytics and distribution services, as well as CME Group Benchmark Administration.

Previous to his current role, Trey held positions as Head of Derived Data Licensing, Head of Operations / Chief-of-Staff to the President and served as internal counsel in the Market Regulation Division.

Before joining CME Group in 2010, Trey served as Assistant State’s Attorney for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office where he served as prosecutor in felony criminal matters. Trey also served as lead defense attorney for Cook County, Illinois in federal civil rights matters.

Trey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Butler University where he majored in psychology and a Juris Doctor from the DePaul University College of Law.
