Senior Advisor, CSR Design Green Investment Advisory, Co., Ltd.

Tomoko Tsuruno is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) of Japan. She is currently a Senior Advisor at CSR Design Green Investment Advisory, Co., Ltd. (CSRD), where she leads research on sustainable finance and provides expert advice on sustainability disclosure.

In addition, she holds the position of Technical Director at the Japan Institute of Certified Public Accountants (JICPA), where her research focuses on sustainability disclosure.

Tomoko is a member of the ISSB Technical Reference Group and the PRI Global Policy Reference Group. She also contributes her expertise as a member of the JICPA’s Expert Committee on Sustainable Finance. Previously, she served as Vice Chair of the Integrated Reporting Expert Committee and as a member of the Expert Committee on Assurance for Green Bonds at the JICPA.

Prior to joining CSRD, she worked at KPMG Japan, providing audit and accounting advisory services to various companies.

Tomoko holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tokyo in Japan and a Master of Accounting from the University of Essex in the UK.
