Tim Langer, Global Head of Business Development – ESG Alliances and Redistribution, Morningstar Sustainalytics

Tim joined Morningstar in 2020, through the acquisition of Sustainalytics, a globally recognized leader in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) ratings and research, where he served as an Associate Director of Client Relations.

Tim Langer now leads the Global Business Development team focused on ESG Alliances and Redistributors for Morningstar Sustainalytics. In his role, he collaborates with a number of different fintech companies to develop new solutions taking into account sustainability factors globally.

During his 8 years at Morningstar Sustainalytics, Tim Langer has held a breadth of roles and responsibilities focused on client and institutional relations. Through these experiences, Tim brings a client-centric approach to developing sustainable solutions, drawing on his robust knowledge of core industry themes and deep understanding of ESG research, ratings and analytics at Morningstar Sustainalytics to empower investor success.Tim holds a Master of Science in International Finance from the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics after receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Bayreuth.
