UK Head of Sustainability, Investec

Rishi is UK Head of Sustainability for Investec which encompasses Investec’s approach to climate and sustainable finance, driving delivery on their Net Zero commitments and overseeing their CSR activities.

Outside the bank Rishi serves as an elected Councillor in Camden, representing Bloomsbury ward, and is Chair of the London Borough of Camden Pension Committee. The fund is a Local Government Pension Scheme and won a LAPF Award for its innovative approach to ESG. He is also Shareholder Chair of the London Collective Investment Vehicle, representing c. £45bn of London’s Local Government Pensions.

Rishi is a trustee of the Labour Climate & Environment Forum and an executive member of SERA (Labour’s Climate campaign group).

Rishi is an Emeritus Governor at the London School of Economics & Political Sciences and a Council member at University of Leicester and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. Rishi also serves on the boards of the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association and UK100 and is part of the LSE Grantham Just Transition Investor Alliance.
