Peter is an Asia-based financial technology expert with more than 30 year’s experience of data and connectivity solutions for financial institutions both in-region and globally.

 

The solutions Peter has worked on address challenges ranging from trading financial markets to regulatory disclosure of all aspects of a financial institution’s operations and balance sheet.

 

Peter led the NYSE Technologies business in the region working with both exchanges and trading firms on trading, market data and connectivity solutions.

 

As CEO for the DTCC Data Repository (Singapore), Peter worked closely w financial regulators in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore to establish regulated data repositories containing details of daily Over-The-Counter (OTC) trading activity.

 

Most recently Peter was also involved in the delivery of technology solutions to licensed banks across the region in response to regulators in each jurisdiction mandating detailed new operational and balance sheet disclosure standards.

 

Peter has recently turned his attention and experience to the standardisation and collection of sustainability data and completed a course in this field at Cambridge university’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership in 2022
