Paul Nash is Solace’s Global Business Director, responsible for business development and supporting our key global customers in Asia Pacific and Japan region. He joined Solace in 2011 and has helped clients from small HFT prop shops to global banks run their event driven businesses at speed and scale using Solace open data movement fabric.

Paul has extensive experience in financial services industry. He is a keen follower of cloud development and operations technology and aims to assist clients manage hybrid information flows as we shift to the open API and off premise DC paradigms.

Prior to Solace, Paul worked with Reuters to help build the electronic trading business throughout South East Asia consulting on projects at DBS, Maybank and setting up the next generation multi asset class platform for Thomson Reuters.

Paul began his career in Amsterdam with TIBCO Finance after graduating with a Master’s degree in Computer Science. A developer on the first eCommerce FX dealing platform for ABN AMRO, he realized that one of the fundamental requirements of a profitable real-time trading platform was a robust and fast messaging infrastructure.
