Based in Sydney, Michael Thorns currently leads the Asia Pacific Market Data team within Macquarie Group’s Corporate Operations Group. In this role, Michael is responsible for providing end-to-end market data solutions to internal stakeholders across the region and globally. Michael started his career at FactSet London working with key sell side clients across the UK and Ireland. This eventually led to him taking a role in FactSet Sydney, managing global relationships with several large Australian firms. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Essex.
