John Mason, Group Head of Platform, LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group)

John Mason is the Group Head of Platform at the London Stock Exchange Group. In this role, John and his team are responsible for delivering the next generation of data solutions offering cloud sharing as well as traditional API and file capabilities.  Prior to his current role he was the Group Head of Pricing and Reference Data Services delivering revenue synergies across the data and index business lines and ensuring that we are effectively addressing our clients’ data challenges and needs across instruments, entities and prices.

Prior to joining us, John ran the European Enterprise Solutions for Bloomberg and was also their Global Head of Regulatory Reporting. Before joining Bloomberg, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Core One Technologies prior to its sale to Markit.
