As the Head of ESG Data within the Data and Analytics Office at HSBC, Jenny plays a pivotal role in unlocking the true value of data by providing insights that not only benefit HSBC’s customers but also contribute to the bank’s commitment to becoming a net-zero emissions institution by 2030. Through her leadership, Jenny has built deep relationships with senior leaders across HSBC, working collaboratively to develop powerful data assets and visualisations that empower stakeholders to make informed decisions and take proactive steps towards a sustainable future. Moreover, Jenny is responsible for developing a trusted source repository for external and internal ESG data, ensuring its cleanliness and consistent maintenance according to data policies. She has played a crucial role in establishing standardized and consistently defined ESG data requirements across all global businesses and functions, enabling HSBC to transition to a NetZero Global Economy.
Beyond her role at HSBC, Jenny is a recognized industry expert and has been actively involved in various regulatory programs such as FATCA, MiFID II, EMIR, Dodd Frank, IBOR, Basel III, and BCBS. She has imparted critical subject matter expertise to these programs and has been a trusted consultant, ensuring the adoption of robust data practices.
