Jenny Peng is Senior Publisher, Open Access at Oxford University Press where she is responsible for driving forward OUP’s strategy and engagement with OA and Open Research in the US, including the acquisition and launch of new OA titles. As part of the OUP DEI&A journals project group, Jenny helps to identify and address issues of bias and representation within editorial policy, practice, and recruitment. Previously, Jenny was Senior Editor at Wiley where she was a part of the Advisory Board for Wiley’s DE&I editorial workstream and the Professional Development committee for the Asian & Pacific Islander Employee Resource Group. In her career in scholarly publishing and scientific communication, Jenny has worked in a variety of roles within editorial, marketing, production, and content development. She is a member of the Board of Directors for CHORUS and previously served on the Society for Scholarly Publishing’s Communications Committee. Jenny currently co-chairs the Coalition for Diversity & Inclusion in Scholarly Communications (C4DISC) working group on Inclusive Language and Image Guidelines.
