Jason DeRise, CFA is the Head of Data and Analytics Products at Liberty Mutual Investments (LMI). LMI’s mission is to create capital that allows Liberty Mutual’s customers to embrace today and confidently pursue tomorrow. LMI manages more than $100 billion across both public and private markets and actively trade for total return in fixed income.

Prior to joining LMI, Jason was one of the first ten members and Head of Data Strategy at UBS Evidence Lab. UBS Evidence Lab is a sell-side team of experts that work across 55+ specialized areas creating insight-ready datasets. The experts turn data into evidence by applying a combination of tools and techniques to harvest, cleanse, and connect billions of data items each month. Earlier in Jason’s career he was a top-rated Senior Sell Side Research Analyst covering consumer sectors, including the European Beverages sector while based in London and the US Staple Retailer sector while based in New York City. He’s CFA Charterholder and graduated from Syracuse University Whitman School of Management with degrees in Finance and Accounting, and a minor in economics.
