Eric joined Colt from AP Capital, a high frequency arbitrage hedge fund based in Hong Kong, where he was Representative Director for the Tokyo office for two years. He established the Tokyo office and applied for the various capital markets high speed trading licenses with JFSA and KLFB, as well as worked closely with JPX and various vendors to help set up the trading infrastructure in Japan. Prior to this, Eric was the Head of Japan Sales for Trading Technologies. He was also previously at Nomura Securities as the listed Futures and Options Tokyo desk head, before being promoted to Head of Nomura Futures Pte Singapore. Eric has worked in the capital markets area for over 25 years, beginning with JP Morgan, Tokyo in the Futures and Options Group. He started his career at Mitsui & Co., Ltd head office as a new graduate in the Motor Vehicles Group. Eric holds a BA in Political Science from the University of California Irvine and an MBA from Cornell University Johnson School of Business.
