Douglas J. Manoni is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CyberRisk Alliance LLC, a business intelligence company serving the cybersecurity industry. Doug founded the company in partnership with Growth Catalyst Partners, with a mission to serve this high-growth, rapidly evolving marketplace. The company’s portfolio is comprised of an ensemble of highly specialized businesses producing information, events, data-driven marketing services, and other professional intelligence resources, including research and peer councils. The company was grew rapidly by a series of strategic acquisitions – bringing together leading companies in the sector – leveraging their respective strengths to achieve strong organic growth.

In his 25-year career in business information services, events and digital media, Doug has acquired deep experience across multiple business models. He is recognized as a visionary and an innovative leader; expert in applying transformative strategies. He has a track record as a creative dealmaker, managing over 60 transactions valued at nearly $1 billion, consistently delivering strong positive returns for all stakeholders.

Prior to CyberRisk Alliance, Doug was Chief Executive Officer of SourceMedia, an innovative digital business information, events and performance media company focused primarily to the financial services industry.

Prior to joining SourceMedia, Doug founded Wicks Business Information (WBI) in partnership with The Wicks Group of Companies, a private equity firm focused on growing segments of the information industry. The business was sold in two principal transactions, to Dow Jones & Company in 2004 and Summit Business Media in 2007, delivering a strong favorable return for all stakeholders.

Doug is a long-time member of the industry association for business information companies. He served as Chairman of Connectiv during 2014 – 2016 and was an active Director and a member of the Executive Committee for many years. He was also a former member of the Board of Directors of the SIIA, and the Business Media Educational Foundation. Other former industry affiliations include the Magazine Publishers Association, the Society for Independent Show Organizers and the Specialized Information Publishers Association.

Doug is a graduate of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn., a former Trustee and he received Sacred Heart’s Alumni Achievement Award in 2014. Other awards and recognition include the 2016 McAllister Top Management Fellowship at Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
