Dominik Schmidt-Kiefer studied economics in Germany before starting his career in the field of risk management. He brings over 20 years of business experience especially leading complex projects including IT projects and applications. Despite expertise in market, credit and liquidity risk management he also gained insights in the usage of public and on prem cloud technologies.

In 2010 he joined Commerzbank as head of counterparty & issuer risk in Group Market Risk Management. After various positions in Group Market Risk Management he was heading the division from 2018 until 2020. In 2020 Dominik Schmidt-Kiefer became head of the Big Data & Advanced Analytics division at Commerzbank AG.
