Danny is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and has spent a majority of his career in the field of education. Starting in higher education, Danny worked at three different universities (University of South Carolina, University of Tennessee, and the University of Georgia), where he specialized in the areas of leadership development, diversity and inclusion, first-year programs, community service and strategic planning. After six years in higher education, Danny attended law school and focused his interests in education law and policy. Post-law school, he served as a Judicial Law Clerk and most recently, he served as the Federal Programs Ombudsman for the Tennessee Department of Education, where he worked with federal law and policies related to federal funding to state-wide school districts.

Danny currently lives in Nashville, TN with his wife and two dogs. He received his B.S. at Middle Tennessee State University, his M.Ed. at the University of South Carolina and his J.D. at the University of Memphis. He enjoys spending time with family, CrossFit and watching SC football and Netflix.
