Director, Valuations & Pricing, CanDeal DNA

Christian is responsible for the quantitative aspects of pricing, curve building and analytics computing for Canadian fixed income securities. In addition, he provides guidance and oversight to customers and partners of CanDeal Data & Analytics (DNA) in the province of Québec and across Canada.

Christian joined CanDeal’s DNA team in July 2020 following four years as the Head of Evaluated Pricing at Exchange Data International, where he oversaw all aspects of its Canadian fixed income pricing & analytics business. Christian is also the founder of Evaluated Data International which developed valuable Intellectual Property (IP) and applications related to bond pricing methodology. Christian has over 20 years of institutional trading, pricing and analytics experience in Canadian derivatives and fixed income markets, with National Bank Financial, Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec (CDPQ) and the TMX Group.

He is a native of Québec City and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Management (Honours) from Université Laval, a Master of Science in Finance from Université de Sherbrooke and has been a Chartered Financial Analyst since 2004.
