SIIA Ed Tech Industry Conference Announces Innovation Showcase 2.0 Winner
WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 11, 2020) The Education Division (ETIN) of SIIA wrapped up a month-long virtual conference with their annual Innovation Showcase 2.0. The program helps to establish all participants as future leaders in the EdTech market, directly connecting them to industry experts and decision makers with a vast array of expertise, resources, and guidance to share.
“Dozens of successful products and companies, all dedicated to improving education using software, digital content, and related technologies, presented this year. We’re thrilled to announce Muzology is this year’s Innovation Showcase winner,” said Jill Abbott, ETIN Sr. Vice President and Managing Director.
Muzology integrates music and learning into the classroom. Founded by Rhodes Scholar, Dr. Lana Israel, their method activates existing knowledge, communicates critical math skills, and evaluates student growth and performance. During the Covid-19 closures, Muzology offered their music-based learning for free to schools and teachers.
Innovation Showcase 2.0 identifies and supports entrepreneurs in their efforts to bring innovative learning technologies to the education market. ETIN calls the Innovation Showcase 2.0 the chance to give back to both the industry and the participants, who are aspiring EdTech entrepreneurs.
