Chief Executive Group seeks a Relationship Manager to help grow the executive audience for our B2B events, webinars, and business roundtable discussions. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will be responsible for engaging with C-suite leaders from the world’s largest brands and connecting them with their peers and our advertising partners.
The Relationship Manager role will be an ideal fit for individuals who enjoy building relationships with executives across a range of business verticals, and who have direct experience in roles such as membership sales, conference production/booking, or speaker recruitment. The role will also serve as an excellent launchpad for career advancement, with promotion potential into sales, marketing, or other roles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Research and identify C-suite leaders to invite to our events, webinars, and roundtables, and personally invite them to attend using a combination of email, phone, and other relevant contact methods
- Maintain ongoing communication with target audiences to encourage their attendance and capture post-event feedback.
- Meet and greet selected individuals onsite at live events, with the goal of driving their engagement and participation (Note: Live events are anticipated for late 2021)
- Build strong relationships with key audience segments to create brand awareness and loyalty.
- Track ROI for all audience development campaigns and initiatives.
Specific qualifications for the Relationship Manager include:
- Relevant experience in a role responsible for direct outreach and engagement with business leaders, speakers, or subject-matter experts
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including a high level of comfort engaging with business executives via phone, email, social media, and other channels.
- A desire to collaborate and work cross-functionally with internal partners, specifically with editorial, sales, and events production teams
- Bachelor’s degree
