Panel: E,S and G Factors and the State of Data to Support the Sustainability Discussion in Japan

While there are flaws and gaps in ESG data globally, usage begets quality.  The urgency for better measurement and management and the increase in mandatory reporting and data usage is driving inexorable progress in this area globally.

For us data professionals it’s a data and data management problem.  Good old fashioned concepts of accuracy, completeness, reliability, relevance, validity, and timeliness are all equally applicable and with ESG AUM forecast to exceed a third of global AUM by 2025, the skills in this (FISD) community will play a big role in the financing of our greener more sustainable future.

This discussion will review disclosure, aggregation, dissemination, and consumption aspects of this emerging and critical data set and opine on how this audience can add value along the data supply chain.

Anamaria Tudoran, Director, Head of Strategic Partnerships APAC, ICE Data Services
