How NISA is Changing the Japan Capital Markets

The recent overhaul of the NISA scheme promises to transform Japanese retail investing. We have seen early signs of change both in terms of Nikkei levels and activity across the FIs in Tokyo.

Sustainability Data Section – The Carbon Trading Marketplace in Japan

At our last meeting we heard from GPIF, JFSA and others about Japan’s plans for transition finance through new green government bonds.

Carbon credits and their trading is another key strategy in funding the transition to lower GHG emission and ultimately a net zero economy.
