Leading with Equity: How to Effectively Lead & Retain a Diverse Team
Many business leaders have seen the research about how diverse teams drive innovation, productivity, and success. In McKinsey’s 2015 report, “Diversity Matters,” researchers surveyed proprietary datasets across 366 public companies and found that companies that were in the top quartile for racial and ethnic diversity were 35 percent more likely to have financial returns above their respective national industry medians.
By the end of this session participants will be able to:
○ Articulate the mindsets, skills and behaviors that go into leading with equity & inclusion
○ Better understand how day to day interactions and organizational structures contribute to an inclusive & equitable workplace
○ Better understand their gaps & opportunities when it comes to inclusive & equitable leadership practices
