Tracking & Controlling Market Data in Hybrid Cloud

As the financial services industry’s adoption of cloud matures, hybrid cloud has emerged as the preferred deployment model for several usecases such as market data. With a hybrid cloud setup, it has become extremely important and challenging to design, govern, catalog, and control the flow of events. In this session, Himanshu will cover how you can take control of your architecture and market data flows in a hybrid-cloud environment.

Case Study: “Creation of the CME Group Unified Data Platform (UDaP)”

To streamline data access and delivery channels using Google Cloud, CME Group built a Unified Data Platform (UDaP) whose architectural design enabled co-housing market data from transactional sources, data from third party & SaaS providers, and referential & derived data. This session gives an overview of the journey CME travelled to make UDaP a centralized data management solution with decentralized data ownership, and an optimized environment for reporting and analytics, reduced need for standalone data marts and self-service onboarding for data engineering teams.
Kiran Panja, Global Head of Cloud and Data Engineering, CME Group
