CME Group is leveraging the latest Google Cloud technologies in AI and automation to design a suite of analytics and models to help customers better understand and enhance trade execution costs. Learn more about the neural network developed by CME Group to derive the most optimal peer grouping based on trading behaviors in the US Treasury market. Delve into another set of foundational models designed to understand and reduce slippage rate using XGBoost models and learn how we utilized explainable AI: SHAP values, DICE, and LIME to ensure model outputs are fully understood to help customers action the model outputs and improved trading costs. All built on cutting edge Google Cloud technologies using ML pipelines in Vertex AI using Feature Store, Model Registry and leveraging CI/CD framework to seamlessly manage the model pipelines.

SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) is a domain that focuses on applying software engineering techniques to automate IT operations tasks, with the goal of improving scalability and reliability, accelerating the detection of problems and shortening mean time to resolve. It also looks at the use of predictive analytics to anticipate capacity constraints. This part of the program looks at various aspects of implementing an effective SRE framework.

Real-time Market Data Platform in the Cloud: Installation, setup and demonstration in AWS.

This session will demonstrate how easy cloud technology has made it for data consumers to consider adding new data providers to their environment. With the cloud you can download, install and run a market data platform in a matter of minutes that includes Feed Handlers, a Last Value Cache, Entitlement systems, Reporting, and a Web Service for streaming real-time market data to any downstream applications and to users (including mobile devices). Each step required to get the job done will be shown in this live session.

AWS Analytics Workshop

AWS offers purpose-built analytics services for data movement, data storage, data lakes, big data analytics, log and streaming analytics. In this workshop, you will learn how to set up and configure a FX trading application that sends trade activity data to Amazon Kinesis, and use AWS Glue to catalogue and store the data on to Amazon S3 using Parquet. You will learn how to query and visualize this data using Amazon QuickSight and how to configure AWS Lake Formation to govern data access.
