As a mechanism to facilitate innovation in financial markets, regulated digital currency platforms will allow the incorporation of new technologies and new business models, with the potential to meet the population's demand through natively digital settlement, such as those currently available in the crypto ecosystem. In this context, Real Digital seeks to meet the need for a digital representation of central bank money that allows it to operate safely in a regulated environment of tokenized and digital assets. To achieve this, a series of tests was started, of which the initial lessons and the future roadmap will be discussed in the presentation.
