The use of consultancy services for market data back-office tasks is becoming more popular, driven by customer resource constraints in terms of budget and limited candidates with the instant deep knowledge to directly jump in to action. According to the Burton Taylor study, market data spend is now globally at approx. $42 billion, and most is still managed internally, but gradually, consultancy firms are benefitting from customer struggles. Consultancy firms generally may have more suitable and fitting tools plus highly skilled industry personnel at the ready. Customer firms are looking for efficiencies around costs, system integration & delivery, transparency, and more, to help customer firms with tighter focus. Our panelists will share their insights.
