Washington D.C., January 22, 2025 – The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) expands its policy team with the appointment of Abigail Wilson as State Policy Manager. In this newly created position, she will support and advocate on behalf of SIIA’s membership on critical state level tech policy issues including artificial intelligence, consumer privacy, kids’ online safety and student privacy.
Wilson comes to SIIA from the Business Software Alliance (formerly BSA) where she helped build the organization’s presence in the states, managed direct lobbying efforts and developed elected official, member and organization relationships. She also served as the Advocacy & Public Policy Manager at the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) where she led legislative strategy and lobbyist and member management.

Wilson has a Masters of Public Policy from Loyola University Chicago and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Louisville.
