Global Head of Program and Innovation Office, Financial Information, SIX

Berta is of Global Head of Programs & Innovation Office for Financial Information at SIX Group, where she leads the area´s strategic projects and coordinates and promotes innovation, with a particular focus on Data Science (analytics and AI) and Digital Assets.
Based in Spain, she is also Head of Financial Information Spain and a member of the Executive Committees of BME (Spanish exchange and financial infrastructures) and the Financial Information Leadership Team. In addition, Berta is professor of Digital Transformation at Inesdi Business School.
With over two decades of experience in the financial sector, Berta’s career has been marked by an enduring passion for new technologies and transformational processes. She has been a driving force behind strategic changes and projects, always prioritizing team dynamics and customer value creation.
She holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, an International MBA from La Salle University and a PMP certification.
Berta has led several cutting-edge projects at SIX Group, and has been a speaker on technology and innovation at conferences, roundtables and events with partners, customers and universities. Main responsibilities and areas of interest:

• Data Science area for the implementation of new products or evolution of existing products: SIX – GPT, Financial calculation platform, Data Mining platform, etc.
• AI strategy
• Innovation plans with focus on #ESG, #Regtech, #Insurtech
