Rafailia is an experienced legal professional with six years of in-house counsel experience in the financial sector. After qualifying as an attorney in Greece, she gained valuable experience working in Brussels and Luxembourg before moving to the Netherlands to pursue a master’s in law & finance. She previously worked at ABN AMRO Bank, where she advised on banking regulatory matters and served as a capital markets and corporate finance counsel with a focus on green bonds.
Currently, Rafailia is a Senior Legal Counsel at Cboe Global Markets, supporting both the Dutch and UK exchanges. She advises on a wide range of regulatory, corporate, product, and contractual matters, drawing on her in-depth knowledge of European financial market regulations. She has a strong interest in market dynamics and trends.
Outside of work, Rafailia is a passionate traveller, and enjoys practicing yoga.
