Head of Risk, BVI

Peggy Steffen is Head of Risk Management and Vice President of the Legal Department at BVI, the German Investment Funds Association. She represents BVI vis-à-vis legislators and authorities at national and EU level. She has been working in the asset management industry for more than 18 years and is an expert in the risk management and organisational requirements of asset managers. She has been involved in the DORA framework from the outset. Peggy is a lawyer, has successfully completed the courses “Specialist Lawyer for Banking and Capital Market Law” in Germany and “Prudential Risk and Policies in the European Investment Fund Sector” at the Florence School of Banking and Finance. She regularly gives lectures, e.g. at the Frankfurt School of Finance, IREBS Real Estate Academy, and publishes specialist articles and commentaries.
