Current Position:
As a Senior Procurement Expert and Market Data Governance Specialist at Landesbank Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart, Ronald is seeking to implement a global data governance program across LBBW.

Previous Experience:
At Hamburg Commercial Bank AG in Hamburg/Kiel, Ronald served as Head of Procurement and Market Data Governance, managing the complete procurement function and focusing on strategic realignment and vendor negotiations. He also developed data strategies and managed cost-saving initiatives.

At abrdn / Standard Life Investments in Edinburgh, Ronald held the positions of Department Head of Data Management and Governance. He oversaw vendor governance for over 100 providers, managed a £60 million budget for market data services, and established a data governance framework while leading operational data management teams.

Throughout his career, Ronald has held various leadership roles, including Head of Transaction Systems Sales at Bloomberg LP and Senior Market Data Manager / Procurement at DekaBank, where he successfully led teams in market and reference data procurement.

Education:
Ronald holds the FIA – Financial Information Associate certification from FISD/SIIA and is a certified Sourcing Value Manager in Financial Services from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.

Fluent in German and English, proficient in French, with basic Finnish.
