Irene is the Founder and CEO of the award winning IX Fintech Group Limited. IX Fintech produced the first crypto market index- ixCrypto Index in Hong Kong and the first post quantum safe digital asset machine & wallet. Today the index business is running 27 crypto indexes real time 24×7 via Nasdaq exchange to over 50 countries.

Before founding IX Fintech, Irene held various positions including senior vice president of Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Head of Hang Seng Indexes Company, senior trader of Alliance Bernstein etc. Irene started in the finance industry as a futures and floor trader for Morgan Stanley and experienced the financial crises in 1997-1998.

In 2021, Irene is selected by Amcham Women of Influence-STEM category as final three. She served in the task force for United Nations UNDP ESCAP on Fintech and Regtech areas.
