John has been involved with SIIA since the late 90s. After 15 years with online data businesses at Thomson Financial and Dow Jones, John joined what was then the M&A advisory firm W.B.Grimes. John acquired the W.B Grimes assets in 2018 to form Grimes, McGovern & Associates (GMA). 

GMA has been a leader in Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory for Lower Middle Market companies in the Information Industries: Media, Info Services, Data, Research and Events and Training companies.
