Co-Founder and CEO, Coin Metrics

Tim Rice is the co-founding CEO of Coin Metrics who joined the firm in 2018 when it was launched as a commercial endeavor.  Tim has over 30 years of experience in traditional capital markets data. He has held executive positions at Tradeweb, Moneyline Telerate, Thomson Reuters, and Markit (now IHS Markit), where he built large-scale, institutional-grade pricing and reference data businesses. Before founding Coin Metrics, Tim spent two years at ConsenSys, where he gained invaluable insights into bridging the gap between crypto and traditional financial services. Tim has a BS in Applied Economics from Cornell University.
