Vice President, ICE and Country Head – India

Sachi Pati serves as Country Head of India for Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). In this role, Pati leads the company’s substantial workforce headquartered in Hyderabad and focuses on helping ICE meet its global workforce scaling goals. Pati’s additional responsibilities include extending ICE’s global culture to a large team of data and engineering staff at ICE India and developing and executing the business strategy for ICE’s India unit. Under Pati’s leadership, ICE has grown from 450 members to 3400 members in a short span of 4 years, since ICE started their India operations in Nov, 2019.

Pati joined ICE in 2009 during the company’s early growth years when it had under 800 employees, serving in capacities of increasing leadership as the company has grown to nearly 6,000 employees worldwide today. He has been part of the company’s formidable growth in futures trading and the development of its clearinghouses, along with ICE’s entry into to the equites exchanges and data segments. 

Prior to joining ICE, Pati served as a Director of software engineering for CME Group, based in Chicago, Illinois. 

Pati earned a degree in engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Rourkela, India, and received his Master in Business Administration from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
