Joni Dori is a Director at AF Advisors. Joni specializes in projects relating to regulatory implementation and structuring of investment managers and funds. Recent projects include advising investment managers and pension funds on the operational and governance impact of DORA, implementing sustainability legislation (SFDR) for a fiduciary manager and providing legal and governance advice in setting up a real estate investment manager. On an ongoing basis, Joni advises his clients on sectoral legislation such as AIFMD, UCITS and MiFID II. His clients include investment managers, fund managers and Dutch pension funds.

Joni joined AF Advisors in 2021 and has 10 years of industry experience. Prior to joining AF Advisors, he worked as legal counsel for several Dutch and international investment and fund managers. He holds academic degrees in Law (LLM) and Philosophy (BA) from the University of Amsterdam.

Apart from work he enjoys being with his baby daughter, completing his triathlon training and playing (online) chess.
