GEO Capability Lead Wholesale & Rural, Rabobank

Jorian Heil is a technology and data enthusiast with a focus on innovation in the field of financing and agriculture. He is currently active in Rabobank as Chapter Lead Innovation Delivery in the Wholesale & Rural Innovation department. He is responsible for spotting new skills & attracting talent and establishing an innovation product development framework that pushes the technological boundaries of the bank. As part of his endeavours, Jorian launched the ‘Geospatial’ capability which enables Rabobank to answer the question of ‘where’. With his team he created a global map of client asset locations and rolled out the geo-platform to colleagues for geospatial analysis. The latter defined geo-platform enables Rabobank to navigate in critical themes like sustainability, the Food & Agriculture transition and climate. Prior to joining Rabobank Jorian gained experience about Agile Transformations, FinTech enablement and IT strategy as a Technology Consultant in one of the big four consulting companies. During the FISD event, Jorian will explain how technology in space is aiding in formulating a data driven & future proof business strategy.
