Senior Business Relationship Manager, APG Asset Management NV

Alex Rensen is a Senior Business Relationship Manager at APG Asset Management within the department Contracting & Third Party Management (C3PM) and responsible for the global relationships and contracting of APG AM’s third parties in the areas of banking, custody, brokerage, research, market data, external hires and ICT globally. In this position he also coordinates the annual executive meetings between APG AM and its strategic accounts. Alex joined APG Asset Management in September 2001, and moved, after different roles within APG AM to his current role in 2008. He was involved in the acquisition of various new systems within the “controlled simplicity” program. Currently he is involved in strategic projects in relation to Regulations, Responsible Investments, Third Party Risk Management and the evolvement of the Data & Information (cloud) strategy. Alex was one of the founders in 2009 of the Dutch Information Providers User Group (DIPUG) and participates on behalf of APG AM since. Alex holds a Bachelor for Management, Economics and Law and followed the Negotiation Dynamics program at INSEAD. Alex is an active member of FISD, co-chairing the Subgroup Vendor Management.
