Senior Vice President Digital Assets and Financial Markets, Northern Trust

Dan serves as Senior Vice President representing the Northern Trust Digital Assets and Financial Markets Team for the APAC region.

Based in Singapore, he is responsible for assessing the impact of regulatory and
market infrastructure change to Northern Trust’s operating model and identifying innovative operating structures and revenue opportunities. Dan also informs and executes on the bank’s strategy in relation to FinTech developments, innovation initiatives (such as blockchain, digital & crypto assets, cryptocurrency custody and artificial intelligence) as well as market access strategies.

Joining Northern Trust in 2010, Dan worked in multiple change management
leadership roles in the EMEA region before moving to Singapore in 2015 to establish the company’s Derivatives Practice in Asia. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Dan spent 5 years with J.P. Morgan in the UK.

He has over 17 years of banking experience, primarily within the global derivatives space. Academically, Dan has a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance and holds professional qualifications as a PRINCE2 practitioner and is a certified Business Analyst under IIBA.
