Zachary Dan is the Director of Digital Innovation, LLMs and GenAI at Morningstar Sustainalytics. An aerospace engineer by training, he pivoted to solving problems in the data and analytics space, specializing in machine learning and artificial intelligence. To that end, in 2018, he founded Act Analytics, a company that serviced portfolio managers and traders, helping them identify and score ESG market events in real-time. Under Zach’s guidance, Act Analytics was led to a successful exit in 2021.
