Elgin Chau is the Director of Benchmarks & Indices at TMX. Elgin began his career on the buy-side in institutional asset management as a quantitative analyst. He then leveraged his data background to co-found Act Analytics with a focus on providing real-time ESG investment insights. Prior to joining TMX, Elgin worked at BMO Global Asset Management and Mackenzie Investments where he developed their ESG data strategy and led ESG integration efforts across the investment teams.
