CEO, 3d Innovations
A Banking Technology veteran who has been applying his hybrid Business / Technology Consulting skills in IT and financial services for over 30 years. Stephen is the majority share-holder and co-founder of 3d innovations. Many of 3di’s specific services for Market and Reference Data management were originally defined by Stephen. Entering the IT industry in the mid-80s, Stephen’s expertise dates back to software engineering on early market data distribution platforms (TIB, Dectrade, MIPS, etc.). Cross-training into the business Stephen moved through various roles including FX Liquidity Analysis (UBS), Treasury Risk Consultant (IBJ), Global Head of Risk Software Services (Rolfe & Nolan) before finally settling in the Energy Trading industry (Southern Electric, Powergen, TXU Energy Trading and Risk) during the late 90s as a quant and systems consultant. As 3d innovations has developed into a globally successful business over the past decade Stephen’s role as CEO has settled into that typically associated with a general manager and business developer in a SME software and services company.
