In 2004, Dave started his career in Belfast as a C++/Java developer of Derivative pricing products.  Following this, a move into Presales for ultra-low latency trading saw Dave relocate to London where he worked as a developer in a range of capacities including Market Data, Electronic Trading Dev-Ops and Order Entry.  In 2014, following marriage, Dave relocated home to Belfast in order to leverage his skills to help grow FinTech start-ups.

In 2020, Dave graduated from Queens University Belfast with a MSc (Distinction) in Applied Cybersecurity.  Dave continues to hone his cyber skills, acting as DiffusionData DPO and helping its clients build secure platforms.

In his spare time, Dave thrives on spending time in fresh air with both his wife and canine friend – Holly.  Dave also enjoys working out, playing golf and learning new technical skills.
