Editor-in-Chief, Directorship magazine, National Association of Corporate Directors

Elena Loveland has worked in association publishing since 1999. She leads the storytelling team as editor-in-chief of Directorship magazine for the National Association of Corporate Directors. She is the former editor-in-chief of Trusteeship magazine, published by the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges (2019–early 2022) and former editor-in-chief of International Educator, published by NAFSA: Association of International Educators (2005–2016). Earlier in her career, she was the managing editor of GAMA International Journal, published by GAMA International (2003–2005) and former editor of The Journal of College Admission, published by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (1999–2002). Loveland has also taught English for several colleges and universities as an adjunct instructor and is the author of Creative Colleges: Finding the Best Programs for Aspiring Actors, Artists, Designers, Dancers, Musicians, Writers, and More (now in its 5th edition).
