Kees started his career in the market data industry as a trader in Fixed Income Derivative products. Following that he worked for Datastream Financial (now part of Refinitiv) as account executive and later on as sales manager for Europe. In 1989 he founded together with Peter Fruitema Screen Consultants. For more than 30 years now Screen Consultants has been one of the world’s leading boutique firms that specializes on market & reference data advisory services for the Financial Services industry. Through the Screen label we have serviced more than 800 Buy and Sell side end user firms in more than 30 countries worldwide. In 2018 the Screen Group (with the labels Screen Consultants, Screen INFOmatch and Screen Markets) was acquired by TRG and the combined company now is called TRG Screen and is the world’s leading market data management solutions provider.

Kees loves sports. Tennis, padel, golf and he is also a spinning instructor. His favorite sport however is cycling. Race bike and MTB. He has climbed many of the mountains known from Tour de France, Vuelta and Giro. Favorite climbs are Galibier, Mont Ventoux and of course the Stelvio in Northern Italy.

Cycling is a sport that forces you to get the best out of yourself. Something that we all need to do in our day to day lives and in the business in which we operate.
