Stephen Case oversees data acquisition and third-party vendor rights management for the London Stock Exchange Group, within LSEG’s Data & Analytics division.  The team serve as primary relationship mangers with over 13,000 data contributors and 1,400 data licensors to ensure that LSEG’s professional customers across the buy- and sellside have access to the broadest possible array of high-value market and reference data through LSEG product offerings – all delivered in alignment with our third-party suppliers’ requirements for IP protection.

Steve has worked at LSEG and predecessor entities since 2009, when he joined Thomson Reuters as Americas Business Manager for the company’s investment banking deals franchise (SDC).  In 2014, Steve formed a global contributor relations team within the Thomson Reuters Financial & Risk division, setting the cornerstone for the broader Data Acquisition & Rights Management organization now in place following the acquisition of Thomson Reuters Refinitiv by LSEG earlier this year.

Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Steve served as managing partner of Laird Squared, LLC, a specialty mergers & acquisitions advisory firm serving the database information economy across key vertical market information sectors.  He holds an Economics degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
