The year 2020 turned everything on its head. In years prior, many associations relied heavily on in-person engagement to drive member value, maintain sponsorships, and grow brand awareness. But once the pandemic began, associations had to redefine their approach to engagement – how they engage, where they engage, and even who they engage with. In this session, you will learn how redefining engagement can be done with a reimagined digital strategy.

During the presentation Nicole Quain will be joined by the Managing Director of the International Live Events Association (ILEA) and they will share examples of how ILEA pivoted from in-person engagements to digital using a reimaged strategy.

By attending, you’ll learn:

  • How a comprehensive digital strategy can open doors to both current and new audiences and how they can engage with your association in new ways.
  • The role digital strategy plays in setting your association up for success when pivoting from an in-person experience to a digital one.
  • Methods for keeping the conversation going before, during, and after a virtual event/experience to maximize your content’s value and maintain engagement.
  • Digital strategy tips for hybrid events as we look to the end of the pandemic and the introduction of the “new normal” and what “new normal” engagement experiences might look like.
