Kevin Ryan, one of Silicon Alley's most well-known Internet entrepreneurs, has started five New York-based businesses – ShopWiki, Silicon Alley Insider, Panther Express, Music Nation and Gilt Groupe – in the past two years. He presently serves as CEO of Alley Corp, a network of affiliated companies that oversees and operates each of the five companies, and also serves as CEO of Panther Express, a content delivery network. Prior to Alley Corp, Kevin was first president then later became CEO of DoubleClick. There, he was instrumental in building the company from a 20 person startup to a global leader with over 1500 employees. Silicon Alley Reporter voted DoubleClick "New York Company of the Year" and Kevin was named one of the "50 Most Influential Business People" by Crain's New York Business. Aside from his professional responsibilities, Kevin serves on the boards of the Human Rights Watch and the NYC Investment Fund and is a member of the Insead International Council, the Yale International Council and the Council on Foreign Relations. He previously served on the boards of the Direct Marketing Association, The Ad Council and Hotjobs, and the advisory board of Doctors Without Borders. Kevin received a B.A. from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Insead.

Bambi Francisco is Vator.tv co-founder and CEO. She was a syndicated columnist and correspondent covering Internet and emerging technology trends and investments across the public and private sectors for Dow Jones MarketWatch. Vator.tv is an extension of Bambi's passion to give investors an edge by exposing opportunities at the earliest stages. This is a focus she's had throughout her career. In 1995, Bambi created, launched and produced three shows for CNNfn, one of which was "Capital Ideas," a show on innovation focusing on IPOs and deals.

Brian Hirsch is a Managing Director of Greenhill SAVP (www.gsavp.com) and a Co-Chairman of the Fund's Investment Committee. Prior to joining SAVP in 2004, Mr. Hirsch was a Principal at Sterling Venture Partners and led the firm's investments in technology-related companies. Mr. Hirsch is currently a board member of BDMetrics, BestContractors, iKobo, Serious and YellowJacket. Prior to joining Sterling Venture Partners, Mr. Hirsch was a vice president at ABN AMRO Private Equity ("AAPE"), the U.S. venture capital group of ABN AMRO N.V., one of the world's largest banks. Before joining AAPE, Mr. Hirsch worked as a senior consultant at KPMG in the Information, Communications & Entertainment (ICE) practice, where his clients included General Electric, CBS/Westinghouse and the Tribune Company.

Ed Keating is VP of the Content Division for the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). Keating has over 15 years of experience in the information industry as both an internal manager and a consultant. He has led marketing, product management and sales organizations at both startup and established information companies. His work to enhance product processes and organizational effectiveness has helped numerous companies enter unfamiliar markets and launch new products.

Pando Networks is Robert Levitan's fourth start-up. Prior to founding Pando, Robert was the cofounder of iVillage, Flooz.com and YearLook Enterprises. In between starting companies from scratch and some adventures in world travel, Robert has also been a marketing advisor and executive coach with several companies including AT&T and OddPost. Robert serves on the board of the Executive Council of New York and New York Cares, a service organization that coordinates volunteers who work with children, the homeless and the elderly.

Larry Schwartz is a co-founder of Newstex and President of the company. Larry has guided numerous entertainment and new media ventures, from start-up through growth, development and maturity, including Bolenka Games Online (Trivial Pursuit Online), GFI Group (Nasdaq:GFIG - financial), Wizard World (publishing), Patron Technology (technology) and Tickets.com (Purchased by MLB.com). Larry attended Bates College and the Yale University Graduate School of Drama. He serves on the Content Board of Directors for the Software Information Industry Association, and is a frequent speaker on content, product development, start-ups and turnarounds. When he's not adding value to content, Larry is a show manger for hunter/jumper horse shows, is on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Horse Show Association and maintains several horse web sites and blogs (www.chsaonline.com, www.srostables.com). Larry, a confirmed gadget geek, also spends time on Broadway with his theatrical agent wife and two daughters.

David is a Partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers' Technology, Information, Communication and Entertainment Group with over 18 years of experience in providing audit, business advisory and consulting services to companies focused in the high-tech, media, publishing and new media industries. He has significant experience working with public and private companies ranging from start-ups to large multi-nationals. David has extensive SEC experience and has provided accounting and auditing services on a number of IPO's, secondary and debt offerings, carve-outs and other SEC filings. David has assisted numerous clients with respect to revenue recognition, stock option and other complex equity issuances. He has also assisted his clients with restructurings, acquisitions, divestitures, bankruptcies, carve-outs and spin-offs. David is a frequent lecturer on revenue recognition, venture capital, Internet advertising and developing new media and technology companies. He currently oversees the PricewaterhouseCoopers Interactive Advertising study performed on behalf of the IAB, which measures quarterly Internet advertising spend. David is also the managing partner of the New York Venture Capital practice.



John WatkinsJohn Watkins

John was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1967. He was admitted to the New York State bar in 1996. Before joining the firm as a corporate associate in 2000, John was a corporate associate at Coudert Brothers from 1994 until August, 2000. John's practice focuses on merger and acquisitions, securities and joint venture transactions in which he represents issuers, investors, acquirers and strategic partners. From 1989 to 1991, John was a financial analyst in the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch & Co.
